Howdy there! My name is Erik Russell, and as simple as I can put it, I want to travel the world and eat as I go. I'm a food enthusiast with an insatiable appetite and a traveler daydreaming for the next adventure.
I was born and raised in Fairfield, California, a small town in the San Francisco Bay Area. After scuttling around the globe a bit in a military family, I ended up at and graduated from the Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio, where I’ve resided since 2008.
One constant in my life has been seeking out places to go and eat, not only for the food but also the experiences and cultures behind it all. My dream is to one day have visited every continent, to have met and befriended many people of all walks, and to sample what the world has to offer.
This blog is to share my experiences of exploring Columbus and the world through my culinary adventures, as well as document my homebrewed beers, a hobby I’ve picked up over the last couple years. Thanks for coming along!
